Nars Orgasm Blush

Recently I did a big splurge in the Nars makeup store in Hong Kong, my experience with many companies products always ended up breaking out my skin maybe from the ingredients that were in it (LOVE MY SENSITIVE SKIN) I used a range of companies blushes like Loreal, Rimmel, Maybelline, Seventeen, etc. I ended up trying out my friends Nars Orgasm blusher and was surprised that I didn't break out after that, so I decided to splurge and purchase this holy grail blusher.

The cult beauty, must have product has been known to be the most universally flattered colour in the makeup industry and the most recent limited edition collection presents a bigger size of the well loved Nars Orgasm blusher, the only difference with this product to the original is the amount of product and the packaging where it has the Orgasm written on top of Nars and the #whatmakesmeblush written in white letters on the mirror.

Mars always have their makeup products spot on, it incorporates pigmentation and buttery products so its easy to spread all over your face preventing that patchy and blotchy look. I think especially with the orgasm blush you really just need a light hand as you can go overboard with the blusher and then look like a sparkling disco ball with apple red cheeks, but if you do like that look you do you! makeup has no rules, and thats why I think I've fallen in love with it more over the past year or two, when dusted on the cheeks it just adds that tint of life back into your face and adds a highlight on top of your cheek bones to really represent that glowy appearance in your skin.

Loccitane Body Salt Scrub

I have been using Loccitane products for over many years since I was small, I think with their products especially its a treat that can feel very satisfying as it makes you feel brand new in your skin. The product that I will be talking about today is the Sels Exfoliants Pour Le Corp Body Salt Scrub. The main reason why I picked up this product in the first place is that I realised I started to have some ingrown hairs under my thigh from shaving and its really not that pretty to look at especially after it becomes infected and turn bright red, so I thought and exfoliant would really do the trick.

The product itself is as the name calls it sea salt it has large piece of salt that will really target those flakey area of skin and scrub the dead skin cells off your body, this is also paired with the moisturising oil that penetrates into your skin leaving it prepped and ready for either shaving or your scented body lotion. I don't really use this product that often maybe every couple of weeks when I want to pamper my skin or that one day when your can't bear with the hairiness of your legs

Clinique (All About Shadow Quad)

I was recently gifted this eyeshadow palette as a parting gift from my neighbours as they are moving back to Singapore. I think they chose this palette for me as purple is my favourite colour and is a palette where you can make a certain pop of colour stand out from your makeup.
This Palette comes with 4 pigmented shades, all of them have hints of purple and aspects of purple tones in the shade. Once swatches these products are considered high end and luxury and not chalky or not pigmented at all. I didn't have that much high hopes for this product as I haven't properly tried their eyeshadows but I have tested their shadow smoothie which was very pigmented but not that long wearing. I have also tried their cult favourite lotion which ended up leaving my skin irritated and  sticky feeling making my experience with clinique not that amazing, as much as I tried liking this moisturiser I felt like that product was just not worth the money.
However after trying this product I will definitely try more products from Clinique and give their skincare another shot.

Haul [Summer Makeup Haul]

I recently scrambled upon this makeup store that sold makeup that I have never seen before in other local drugstores in Hong Kong (Specifically NYX products and some other products from other brands like Loreal) When comparing the prices of other products in the range to the products that I purchased in this store, I will be defiantly be coming to this store more often as I only spent a total of 300$ in this store- excluding SASA products if you look into the picture.
(From Left to Right; Etude house Fresh Cherry Tint, NYX butter gloss Vanilla Creme Pie & Creme Brûlée, Canmake Flaring Curl Mascara, Nuxe Reve De Miel, Loreal Volume Supreme Millions)

The first product that I picked up was this Fresh Cherry lip tint from Etude house, I first heard about this last year on youtube when peel off makeup was first introduced and I heard that some you tubers were talking about this product and saying how the lasting power was really good. (I also agree with them when I did my swatch and tried to remove it for the upcoming photos it left a stain and only came off when i took a hot shower that night)

The next product that I purchased was the Volume Supreme Million Lashes from Loreal, I have heard a lot about this mascara from other people saying its the best mascara for separation and volume, and since my lashes are really sparse and don't have that much length I thought I would give this mascara a try.

I think I have looked at over 5 different stores in Hong Kong that sells NYX products for these butter glosses, and this was the only store that carried this specific range of products, the oh so famous butter glosses. I tried to look and hunt down for this product ever since I heard Claudia Sulewski on youtube first use these products in her video, I think it was the way that it looked so perfect and the lasting power of this lip product was really well formulated. OMG and lets talk about the smell for awhile, cake and everything sugary that I can think of but not sickly smelling like other products.

MY NEW FAVOURITE LIP BALM, I used to use the Nivea Lip Butters for the past 3 years, but I only noticed now it didn't do much for my lips apart from making it chapped overnight, although that product is better than other chapsticks that I owned I didn't really like how it left that white cast look on the sides of my mouth in the morning if I apply too much product not that attractive. I ended up picking this holy grail product from NUXE who Essiebutton swears by, the product itself is very thick and definitely something to get used to but if you prefer having a lipstick over your lip balm this product is a must have as it glides on like no other.

The last product that I picked up was this from CANMAKE, this is the first every product that I purchased from them, this is a tiny mascara that contains fibres in it to extend the appearance of your lashes. In the past whenever use fibre mascaras it seems to extend the length of my lashes even after removing it with and oil based eye makeup remover, however one negative thing that I have to say about my experience with fibre mascaras that if you have sensitive eyes like myself you might get irritation and be prone to styes and infections.
