Haul [Summer Edition]

Hi Everybody!
Today I bring a haul blog post on my blog, this blogpost is based off my purchase from a month ago and I have only had the time to write about it now, in this haul I will be showing you some items that I picked up from the stores [H&M, Bershka, Stradivarius] I hope you guys enjoy the post and the clothing pieces that I picked up couple weeks back!

I never actually owned a romper in my life, so I made sure that this summer I picked up my very own romper at H&M at the price of (150HKD). This romper is very differnt and unique in its own way as it does not have the cutouts that rompers usually have, however has the classic vshape cut with lace detailings on the top as well as the bottom of the shorts. I havent worn this out yet however I am thinking that I will be wearing this to an formal event for my summer camp celebration as it can be very comfy and will not be flashin anyone as this has a pair of shorts attached.

I never been a fan of crop tops as they were really tight and showed a lot of skin when worn, I went to bershka and picked up these two crop tops at (75HKD Each). I picked up a burgandy shade and a classic black crop top, since I thought that this would match a maxi skirt or a pencil skirt that I have in my closet, since I only own patterned items and not that many basic tee's I decided I would go ahead and purchase some of these basic items.

This is a track sole platform sandals that I purchased for prom is from stradivarius, and might I say it was very comfortable and easy to walk in, although it is very high 5inches I have to say after you stand up in the shoe was very easy to walk in. This shoe was reasonably affordable, taking topshop in comparison which may sell this product for almost double the price I think this shoe was a steal for the price that I paid for which was (449HKD). The shoe overall did not leave any blisters like other friends that I know, however my feet did hurt when wearing this to prom because A) I did not break them in and B) because I did a lot of dancing and jumping during the hours of prom 4hrs.

Summertime Smoothie

Hello Everybody!
Today I will be continuing my Snack series. I will be sharing a recipe that is perfect for summer days as this is a total refreshment for those summer heat waves, I know if you live where I am its actually hot even if there is no heat wave. This is for those people who really like using frozen fruit from supermarkets, and if you dont use frozen fruit all you have to do is put your fruit into the freezer before you make this recipe!

So the ingredients that you will need for this recipe is some berries (I used blueberries and cherries, but feel free to use whatever you have at home), an optional fruit is a banana to add some texture to the juice, in comparison to the averge liquidy juices that you can get from the supermarket. Another optional item is to add some ice to make it an instant refresher drink that is perfect for chilling by the pool on an hot sunny day!
I put some cherries and blueberries together, I remember to take all the pips out of the cherries as you dont want to be drinking the juice and come accross some pips from the cherries. I actually really like the taste of these fruits blended together as it gives a slight taste of drinking strawberries, and its weird but I really do like it as it is different from the classics (apple juice, watermelon juice, green juice, etc.)
For the optional items that you can add to the drink, I would reccommend to break the banana in pieces for it to be easily blended in the drink and would not leave clumps that can make the drink not as smooth when puring and drinking out of an cup. As for the ice, I would reccomend adding it last to have that slushy texture in comparison to the beginning as it could melt by the time you finish making this drink.

Are you guys ready for summer?

Haul [Prom Edition]

Hi Everybody!
Today I bring you another haul, I am actually posting this couple weeks later after I purchased these items since I wanted other blog posts to be up before I posted this. I've been spending a lot of money these past few weeks, but it wasnt for the sake of buying something it was because I needed it. I think overall when you are shopping before you purchase, you have to make sure that you would use it, why you want to buy it, and whether it is something you can't live without.

I picked up a new nail polish for the summer season rapidly approaching, I picked up this nail polish from sinful colors in Easy Going (300), the packaging of this product really reminds me of china glaze products as the shape and brush applier are very similar to one another. This nail polish is in an light baby pink shade, and is very unique to everything that I own as the polishes that I own are usually much more darker and don't really suit my skin tone that much.

I picked up an new lotion recently as I ran out of the simples daily moisturizer and they do not sell it where I live, I decided to go for the Pond's Perfect color complex, this is an product that is very similar to simples however with all the extra benefits of healing scars and imperfections on the face. I havent been using this product for that long, however I have seen some improvements of how much time it takes for my acne scars to heal.

Recently I picked up a new lipstick, this is my very first lipstick and this is in a creme form as it is opaque and not drying on the lips. This product is "Love that Pink" from Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick line, this shade is different from anything I own because A) I only wear lip glosses as it is much more light weight B) because all my lipglosses are either very natural or very dark that is more suited for the fall time. The original thought of using this product was for prom, but after wearing it to prom I started to wear it more and more often and it soon became a staple in my makeup routine as it draws everyones attention to my lips and not my bare face.

I picked up a new eyebrow brush to be used for my eyeliner, as I misplaced my eyeliner brush and since prom was couple weeks ago I had to pick a new one just for the event to enlarge the size of my eyes. I really like to use Gel liner, Liquid Eyeliner is also another alternative if you prefer having it portable to take it out and apply. However I feel like it always dries up quickly as I use it every other day (basically meaning that gel eyeliners can last longer if you use eyeliner on a daily basis.)
